The attention to details is quite amazing. Such a shame not many will ever realize how much work has been put into this once its done.

Thanks Mate and yes it is unreal how much time it take's for a single person to do and when i look at the shell you think a few weeks would sort it out

I had to make my own carbon fibre radiator surround similar to hafsengen on the outside but bigger on the inside as my rad is bigger than hafsengen was,I have been in contact with company's over here that do carbon and none wanted to make it for me due to it being a one off so i had to read up and have a go at something i know nothing about:(,

What i want it to look like,

resin coat,

first layer of carbon,

more layers

taking out of mould

I've been thinking about the tech spec. Since Stian and Jenspeed was so extremely good at tuning and building engines with all parts and that goes for the transmission, driveline, suspension, brakes and so on as well - I've been thinking about how close one can come to the original car of Stian. It seems like you're trying as hard as possible to come as close as you can though. And that's good.

Thanks Fella,I think as a hole my main reason for this build was to replicate a car i had a real passion for since 2005, and i will not and would not want to get it to hafsengen spec as to do this i think would be unfair to stian himself the quality of the car he built was insane and a credit to him as it was mainly all undertook by himself somewhat the same to what i am doing myself as a full self build plus then there is the cost i will not lie, stian cost of the build would have been in high figures,mine will not ,as it has been said to me before i should have bought a wrc shell or car complete and built the car from that, but i choose to go with a standard escort cosworth and build it from scratch as more of a push to see how far i was capable to go ,but at the min a wrc escos can be bought for €75000,mine to get it to that spec would cost alot more so cost have to pulled back,So in awhole what im trying to say stian car was a one off built to a one off spec that would be very hard to replicate but not so hard on getting a car to look like his on the outside,

Always nice with updates. You're doing really, really great and I'm excited about getting the chance to see it when it's finished. And I'm sure I'm not the only one.
