Cold Air Intake

i am going to fit a cold air intake (sportsluftkit) to my golf .. is it a bad idea , snow , besiktning etc. anyone have a little info for me?....

There shouldn't be problems with getting it through... besiktning (lost in translation ), never heard of anyone who didn't get it through.
