Hello

The first one, I´m sorry for write in english. But I´m from Spain and the swedish is so hard for me. I just know some swedish words like kolvar, fargar, bilar...

The last year I was working in a Volvo 855 T5 but now I have a big proyect, one S60 R from 2004 in black with beige leather.

Now I´m working in the stage 0. New air filter, spar plug, mass meter, lambda sond, inyectors, shock absorbers, repair AWD, fuel filter...

I will install Eibachs springs and I was thinking about to install a Turbo Mitsubishi 19T that I have got from my old car. ¿What do you thik about this turbo in a R engine?

noooo dont do it a 19t is smaller then a s60R turbo you live in sweden end you can speak english try to call autotech in trollhättan then can tell you exactly what to do whit you car iam sorry foe my english i speak better then i write

The KKK24 turbocharger that comes original with the S60R and V70R are about the same size as the Mitsu 19T turbo - but not quite.

A common saying here in Sweden is that the 19T reaches its limit at 350hp, but the KKK24 should be good for another 20hp, totally 370hp.

Like with everything else, it depends naturally on what other modifications there are.
One very good thing about the 19T, is that its a really reliable turbo, very popular here in Sweden for all T5 owners (because it fits bolt on).

Are your KKK24 turbo damaged, or why do you want to swap for the 19T?

My car has 230.000 kilometers and my 19 T just 5.000 and it´s waiting to play.

I will make a 3" stainless stell DownPie with 3" race cat and I´m thinking about BSR exhaust, Ferrita, OBX...

I have listened the BSR exhaust, it´s sounds like music in a R engine. I don´t want a noise car just a good sound when I accelerate.

Another question, spanish weather is so hot and we use oil Castrol 10W60 Power Edge. Do you use this oil in Sweden?

Well, anyway, as said before, the 19T is smaller than the KKK24 - I would rather recommend to look for a new KKK24 in better shape than mounting the 19T. It doesn't really fit either, you will have to fix the oil-lines, and watercooling.

Or you could fix your old turbo, there are many companies who fixes old turbos.

Besides, I dont know how different the electronics to adjust the turbo-pressure is, or if it will work anyway.

nice work there , if you wanna have youre tubo fixed go to "turbocenter" in gothenburg ! great guys and perfectly good service, you can choose between a originalturbo and original performance turbo which ofc is better than the original but just a little bit more effective , i bougt a original performance turbo for my sharan works great !, works still after 40'000km's haha 4 months of driving

It´s so easy to work with the 3M Di-Noc carbon fibre vinyl. You can buy it on ebay. It´s realy good and looks like carbon fiber.

Now, as soon as posible I will install new shock absorbers and Eibachs springs. Last week we repaired the AWD (really really hard work). When the new suspension will be instaled I will have a Volvo S60 R.

What will happen with the 4C-system when you install new shock absorbers?

You have to calibrate the DTSC in a Volvo workshop. My shock absorbers are broken, I can´t change the suspension mode (Confort, Sport or advanced) and the AWD transfer was broken. With these problems the DTSC go crazy.The car worked like a 850.

The Volvo workshop can´t calibrate the DTSC if you have problems with your suspensions or the ADW transfer.

I hope thay in two weeks the car works OK. Because I have a friend who has got the keys of the Jarama Circuit (Madrid)

Oh, misunderstanding from my side, I thought you were going to switch the shock absorbers to another kind, rather than new original ones.

does somebody change the volvo S60 R suspension?

I was thinking about this but I dont know how to adap the electronic. I would need a Volvo engineer.
