Jag bor i Nederländerna och har köpet ett hus i Dalarna. I februari gör vi till Sverige. Jag hoppas då man en motorvärmere i min bilar kan installerar. Jag har en VW Golf IV 1,9 TDI. Var kan man det installerar bortåt Älvdalen, Sälen och Särna?
Vad är bästa motorvärmare för min bilar?

Do you want a electrical engineheeter or a diesleboiler?

For electrical heaters i recomend defa (http://cor.defa.com/) or calix (http://www.calix.se/)

Thanx Magnus for your reply. You have to help me because I don't know what the advantage or disadvantage of those systems is. It looks like the electrical heating system is cheaper than the dieselboiler system. We will only be for one or two weeks a year in the Sweden in wintertime. So what is the best in that case? I can store the car in a uthus where there is electricity.

A electrical heater is best in a urban environment. If you are planing to leve your car outdoors on several occations at a public parking or in the woods/nature the dieselboiler is the shit due to that it don't need the coord.   

As you describes you have a carport/garage whare you have electricity. I would in your case if I'm not going out on hikes, and want to leve my car for weeks choose the electrical one. It is cheaper both as it is and to install, and i reccon any Swedish workshop now how to install. The Dieselboiler is harder to install and more expensive, but it gives you more freedom.
