March 28th 2009 at the Texas Diesel Nationals in Ennis Texas. John Robinson set a new national record in top diesel. The track condition was cold and windy and made it a challenge to keep the funny car in the groove. John did a great job driving and set a new record at 8.69et and 154.10mph and backed up his run within 1percent to set a new NHRDA Top Diesel National Record.
