Hi all:), few guys have said i should post this in the project section hope you don't mind,A small run down on what i have,
I got this back in may 2010 as the owner had stripped the car due to it being a high spec,it has been in a few mags in the uk so was well known, so the plan is to turn it into a replica of a car i have always wanted to see but have not, by the pics below some will guess the car i am copying,

Yes, finally! I've seen your pictures here already, but a project thread is great. I've never seen Hafsengens Cossie IRL either, but it have a special place in my heart anyway. I've seen the movie about the car many times and have also read the feature in Performance Ford-mag. The story behind his car is so amazing... The only Escort ever to win a WRC (Carlos Sainz behind the steering wheel), then bought and build as a streetcar by Stian Hafsengen, crashed and re-build again. I just can't get enough of it, maybe the nicest and craziest Cossie I've ever seen. Big words, but it's true.

Your project seem to be to build an exact replica of Hafsengens WRC-Cossie, such a great idea! I will follow this thread like a slave. Support from Sweden!

Thanks guys ,Quote KHracing ( I painted to make sure the bodywork was a prefect as it took a long time to get the wrc body part's to a good finishing and also it was for revenue for duty on the car as it was meant to be built for this then stripped again to what you see now)

Thanks I have always wanted a cossie and this is a bonus to be able to build a replica of hafsengen car by far one talented man:cool: with cars building them and driving them i take my hat off to him,So i hope mine to go from this to this.

I'm sure you'll succeed with this project. You have the right passion and talent... Just study his car carefully and copy the details as far as possible. It has the potential to be as great as Hafsengens, I would say... Keep up the good work!

Small update my second set of compomotive fmv1880 cromodora replica rims came yesterday as they repainted them due to compomotive not beenhappy with the finish,






Also the rest of the cds tubing came to finish my rollcage to genuine wrc escort spec so hope to get alot done over the weekend,
