Jag är ny til den forum och Sverige, nyligen flyttade här med min sambo. Min Svenska är inte så bra (men jag försöker att förbättra mig varje dag), så ursäkta mig för att välja Engelska.
So, having said that, I've been here for just over a month now and my car bug is starting to itch.
In my past I've owned a variety of cars, from a 1989 E30 to a 2003 Subaru STI and a new Alfa Romeo Mito QV (and few others..)
I'm interested in a specific Evo 8 on Blocket

1. The car has 3 private owners, and 6 in total (I was explained those were dealers?)
2. All stock, 8700 mil.
3. Claimed full service history, with the book lost for some time but claimed to have recites for maintenance work during that period. So, to me it's half full.
4. They are not sure if the car has been timed (The water pump has been replaced, but no other indication of timing, I would assume not)
5. The car has some slack in the steering (probably bushes, joints etc.)
Also, I am still waiting for an answer as to when was the last plugs and brake pads change, and possibly rotors.
That of course, before going there and actually seeing the car for myself. All that will be inspected on sight.
However knowledgeable with cars, I am new to the local market which brings up a few questions I was hoping you can help me with:
1. Is it actually common to count it as a 3 owner car, or this is in fact counted as a 6 owner car?
2. Is there a place you could go to have the car inspected in Goteborg? I'd love to have it lifted and looked for any rust, as well as a more through mechanical overview than I might do on my own.
3. What would you estimate the car value at for a decent buy? at 149K, with some issues to be fixed (steering slack, doubtful timing, etc.) I think it's overpriced.
EDIT:
Carfax also says it's a "leasingbil", should that reflect on price?
