Have you considering trying to reg it with UK plates then? If that would be possible regarding to the modifications and regarding to that you live in Ireland - I don't know about these two factors.

Cars is already on a uk plate and if all goes to plan will get registered as a rally car in the paper work and this will then leave me all ok

Yeah, now when you're mentioning it I remember pictures of your car with those plates. And you're gonna use it for track day events, exhibitions and for road use?

slow work starts on getting the shell prep ready for paint due to all the welding and work done to make it close to wrc spec, this means the underside that i have sealed and done twice has to come off as the welding has burnt the sealer off in area's:cry::cry: lots of grinding,and next step then cutting the firewall to weld in the plate needed to run the wrc pedal box

I had to make a Pedal box mounting plate, to fit the wrc pedal box

It would be great if you wanted to show your car when it's finished at Norways biggest show for tuning cars called simply "Oslo Motor Show", a place where at the end of the year (this years show was just finished) Scandinavias best tuning cars are being gathered. Great work as always, by the way!

I wish but it will be nowhere near the quality of the cars there:( but would like to get it gatebil ,thanks it good be getting to the stage of just bolting everything together

Since you're building it from scratch I suppose the finish will be at a high level when it's done. And also that you're goal is to build a replica as close to Stians car as possible, and he did (as you know) keep a mega high level of the finish of his Cossie. So - I think the odds are quite low for that your car will be close to his when it comes to the finish level at least. Besides of this, guys from Britain are to me known for their great finish level of their Fords and that might be the case for irish people too.

fitted my  X-trac gearbox cradle mounting points made these  and welded them in,

Also started on sealing up my rear turrets and where i had widen the rear arches to suit the wrc wide track setup,i have tried here to get as much of a factory look more so to the standard rough and ready welds left on rally cars,

Interior floor and turrets sealed and etch primed,

Made clamps to hold the rad in and also made brackets to bolt the fan housing down to the radiator aswell dont mind the fan as these are not what is going to used,

pedal box fitment finished from start to end,

finished off the passenger side foot rest as needed to cover over the radiator pipes,and i have to make the same for the driver side,
