While in mammoth, Fred meets up with his friend Shane and agrees to take him to the coast at Big Sur to go surfing. Along the way Fred decides to take Shane 4-wheeling in Hollister and even lets him drive. Fred ends his journey through some of California's best off-roading parks in Pismo beach.
